Course Description

CSIS102 is an introduction to fundamentals of Computer Science. The purpose of this course is to gain a broad oversight of the discipline of formal computer science. The course has no prerequisites and assumes no prior knowledge of computers or computing.

Topics surveyed include

Algorithms
Data representation
Hardware and software organization
Fundamental problem solving
Programming skills.
